About Ayesha Siddiqua

Ayesha is an immigrant from Bangladesh with a strong passion for immigration law. She previously worked at an immigration firm in the UK, where she gained valuable experience assisting clients with complex immigration matters. Now based in Alberta, Canada, Ayesha is eager to apply her knowledge and skills to help individuals navigate the Canadian immigration system. Fluent in Bengali, Hindi, and English, she is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal support, ensuring that clients from diverse backgrounds receive clear guidance and advocacy in their immigration journey.

Passion and Achievements:

Ayesha is deeply passionate about immigration law, driven by her own journey as an immigrant from Bangladesh. She understands the challenges newcomers face and is committed to helping individuals and families build stable futures in Canada. Her experience at an immigration firm in the UK allowed her to develop a strong foundation in immigration processes, case management, and client advocacy.

Now in Alberta, Canada, Ayesha aspires to practice immigration law, leveraging her multilingual abilities in Bengali, Hindi, and English to assist clients from diverse backgrounds. She has handled several immigration matters sporadically, including internal immigration cases within her family. Now, she is eager to expand her practice and use her knowledge to support individuals navigating the Canadian immigration system.

Training and Designations:

Ayesha holds a law degree and has gained international legal experience across Bangladesh, the UK, and Canada. She completed her NCA Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. She earned her LLB in the UK and pursued a Master’s in Law (LLM) specializing in Intellectual Property Law and International Maritime Law from the UK.

She is an active member of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and maintains dual licenses to practice law in both Bangladesh and Canada.

During her time in the UK, Ayesha worked as an intern at an immigration firm, where she gained hands-on experience in immigration processes, case management, and client advocacy. In Canada, she has handled various immigration matters on a sporadic basis, assisting with internal immigration cases within her family and community.

She has also attended several immigration training sessions hosted by Legal Aid Edmonton, further enhancing her knowledge of immigration. Ayesha remains committed to continuous learning and professional development to provide effective and compassionate legal support to those in need.
